The conference was hosted by the
Robert Schuman Center under the sponsorship and co-organization of the
Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). It consisted of three sessions
with the following topics: Macroeconomic Dimensions of Regional Integration
and Trade, coordinated by Jaume Ventura (CREI) and Omar Licandro (RSCAS);
Empirical Dimensions of Integration and Trade, coordinated by Rolf J.
Langhammer (IFW), Rainer Schweickert (IFW) and Michel Fouquin (CEPII);
and Institutional Dimensions of Integration and Trade, coordinated by
Hellen Wallace (RSCAS).
