The workshop, jointly organized by the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI) and the Barcelona GSE will discuss recent theoretical and empirical studies on the spatial dimension of economic policy and political economy.

We welcome papers on theoretical and emprircal papers addressing issues including:

• International trade policy, including goods and asset trade
• Migration and its economic and political effects
• The economics and politics of borders
• Fiscal federalism and political decentralization
• Terms-of-trade and enforcement externalities
• The design of international institutions
